The Rum City Offroaders 4wd Club in Bundaberg welcomes anyone who shares our passion for 4wding.
Everyone is welcome to join regardless of your age, level of experience or the capability of you 4wd.

How To Join

We encourage those who wish to join the club attend at least one meeting and one trip. This is so you can have firsthand experience of what we get up to. It will also allow you to meet us and make sure our club meets your expectations. Come along as a visitor and check us out, it will cost you nothing. So even if you are only curious, come along and say g’day, there is absolutely no obligation to join.

If you do decide to join us then you will need to fill out a membership form and pay the annual membership fee. Membership forms can be found here, or you can pick one up on one of our trips, at our monthly meeting or request a copy via email.

The annual membership is only $60 per family, regardless of how many people in your family have 4wds. Trips cost $2 for day trips and $5 for camping weekends. These fees are usually waived if we need to pay for camp sites etc. These fees go towards the costs of running the club, the clubs insurance, 4wd Qld association fees etc. New members receive a club handbook as well as a club sticker to proudly display on your 4wd.

Membership forms and payments can be given to any of the committee members at our monthly general meeting.

Minimum Vehicle Requirements

There are some minimum vehicle requirements to join the Rum City Offroaders. Your vehicle must be a 4wd, it must have a rated recovery point at the front and rear of the vehicle, a UHF (hand held is acceptable) , first aid kit, fire extinguisher and basic recovery equipment, ie snatch strap, bow shackles etc . These are the very basic necessities required for 4wding in a safe and responsible manner.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month except for January, visitors and guests are always welcome. The meetings are a fairly casual affair and rarely go for any longer than an hour.

We meet at 24 Sims Road Bundaberg, in the hall out the back at 7:00pm, see map below.

Members and visitors usually head down to McDonalds after the meeting to have a coffee and catch up.
